Research Interests
Very broadly, I am interested in exploring the neurocognitive mechanisms underlying developmental dyslexia.
Phonological Deficits in Developmental Dyslexia
My
dissertation research examined the role that phonology plays in
reading. In a series of studies I employed measures with high
temporal sensitivity (eyetracking and ERPs] to examine processing as
it unfolds.
As a postdoctoral research associate, I am currently engaged in research designed explore abnormal brain development in dyslexia using functional neuroimaging.
Category Learning in Children
Along with
Dr. Paul Minda I have been exploring how the learning of novel
categories changes across development.
