Research Opportunities
Our laboratory pursues a number of research areas, and provides a unique
research exeperience via exposure to cutting-edge techniques in
neurophysiology, neuroimaging and human psychophysics. Collaborative
projects and interactions with other members of the
CIHR
Group in Action and Perception
and the
Canadian Action and Perception Network
are available, and contribute to an outstanding research environment.
There are a number of research projects appropriate for both undergraduate
and graduate students, and interested candidates are encouraged to contact
Dr. Corneil at bcorneil [at] uwo [dot] ca. The research that we do can
be computationally intense, hence a familiarity with computer programming
(especially Matlab) is an asset.
Undergraduate students wishing to do their honours undergraduate thesis through either
Physiology & Pharmacology
or
Psychology should contact
Dr. Corneil and the appropriate departmental coordinator.
Graduate students with a background or interest in Neuroscience, Physiology, Psychology,
Medicine, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering are encouraged to consider joining
the lab. Students can be supervised through the
Graduate Program in Neurosciences,
Physiology & Pharmacology,
or
Psychology.
Postdoctoral fellows are invited to inquire about joining the laboratory at any time.
