First introduction to graduate study at the University of Chicago in Ralph Gerard's lab where I worked with Bob Ransmeier. (ref. 1 in Research papers)

Often I went down to the University of Illinois Neurospsychiatric Institute to listen to Warren McCulloch's seminar lectures.
