London, ON (UWO) Labs. The groups in the photographs clarified the following in the seventies: How simple movements can reveal the operation of motor set and motor programs, and can help indicate the timing of behavioral insight during motor learning. This led to the demonstration of cerebellum support for motor programs through predictive assistance in starting, stopping, and maintaining intended movements and postures. We developed the combination of observing the changes in task and motor performance with reversible inactivation of controlling brain centers in the cerebellum (or basal ganglia) and single cell recording in motor cortex.
