My name is Brynne Duffy and I am in my final year of my undergraduate Bachelor of Science with Honours Specialization in Biology and a Major in Medical Science. Over the last year, I have been lucky enough to help care for and study Black Widow spiders under the superb Susan Anthony, here in the Sinclair lab. This year I am beginning my Honours thesis on the common pond snail, Lymnaea stagnalis. I am planning to determine the effects of cold on the snails’ memory formation and retention.  My hope is to continue into a research master’s program with focus on comparative physiology. I am looking forward to an exciting year of science here in the Sinclair lab!
