4. Troubleshooting

If "Make Series Group" ("Cantus Series" tab) is unsuccessful:

1. Copy and paste the feastname from the "Feast List" rather than typing it in.
2. Search CANTUS to ensure that chants for your specified feastname, office and genre occur in the database.

If "Get N Random series" ("Cantus Dendro" tab) is unsuccessful:

1. Copy and paste the "group name" from the table on the "Cantus Series" page rather than typing it in.
2. Place asterisks after the feastname, office and genre in the "Group filter" box. EXAMPLE: Dom. 1 Adventus* M* R*

If group names and/or name postfixes are truncated on the dendrogram display:

1. Change the "Name length" to a larger figure in the dendrogram options.

If the dendrogram connecting lines are displayed too narrowly for proper viewing:

1. Change the "Paper width" to a larger figure to spread out the presentation of the dendrogram.
