LIS 504 (2001 Fall - Section 001) - Research proposal

For this assignment, you are asked to submit a proposal for a small research project, real or imaginary, in library and information science. In total, the proposal should be about 1000-1400 words in length excluding appendices.

Except where obviously inapplicable, the proposal should generally adhere to the following outline:

  1. Introduction
  2. Literature review
  3. Methodology
  4. Anticipated results and conclusions

Appendices may include schedule, budget, data collection instruments, ethics forms, letters of support, charts, or other information that you think is useful to understanding the proposal.

Titles and topics of research proposals submitted in previous offerings of the course are listed in the files 504prt00.htm and 504prt01.htm.
