LIS 504 - Triangulation
To check the validity of their findings,
researchers try a variety of methods.
This is known as triangulation.
The analogy is with surveyors,
who determine the positions of distance objects more accurately
by observing them from different locations,
measuring the angles,
and then using trigonometry.
