Create a hierarchical thesaurus display covering the following preferred terms:

ANIMALS
CEREALS
CHILDREN
CROPS
FARMERS
FARMS
FEMALES
GENES
HUMAN BEINGS
MALES
MEN
ORGANISMS
ORGANS
PLANTS
SENSES
SPECIES
VEGETABLES
WOMEN

In addition to the hierarchical display, produce an alphabetical thesaurus display that corresponds to the hierarchical display. Use the standard symbols NT, BT, RT, and SN. Include scope notes for at least half the terms.

For example, suppose you were given the term list:

FLOWERING PLANTS
FLOWERING TREES
GARDENS
GRASS
PLACES
PLANTS
TREES

You might create the hierarchical display:

PLACES
  NT  GARDENS
PLANTS
  NT  FLOWERING PLANTS
        NT  FLOWERING TREES
      GRASS
      TREES
        NT  FLOWERING TREES

And your alphabetical display might begin:
