Our research program is aimed at understanding the cellular and molecular basis of permanent cell cycle arrest (cellular senescence) and to elucidate the reprogramming events necessary to reverse cellular aging and differentiation in the production of induced pluripotent stem cells. A main focus of the lab is to train the next generation of scientists.
