Section Eight:Alternatives in Contemporary Philosophy
- Final Exam: Thames Hall Gym, Friday, April 16th, 2 p.m. Closed book, no calculators, no translators, no dictionaries. Possible exam questions (updated with final section).
- Final Essay Assignment:
Pick one of the new directions in philosophy covered in the last section of the course. Expound it carefully, evaluate its merits, and discuss any difficulties you think it encounters.
This essay is an optional assignment. It does not have to be completed to complete the course, nor will it count towards a student's mark if not completed. The essay is due at the final exam.
