Suggestions for completing Section D

Section D - Assessment

The first part of Section D asks you to copy and paste your mentor's comments.  Please ensure your mentor will be available near the end of your project so he/she can provide the mentor's comments.  (Check for vacations, etc.)

Candidate's Self Assessment
The RPP is not like an assignment where you submit a product for evaluation.   For example, if you were implementing a slide show project with your class, for your final assessment, do not focus on the final slide shows (product) that were developed.

Instead you are to reflect on the process you went through in developing the project, who was involved, what issues arose, what decisions you made, why, what would you do differently?  What was successful? Were there unexpected outcomes, etc?  The main word in the RPP is Reflect.

Research
Note that Form C, you indicated documents, articles or journals that you planned to use in your research. Refer to these documents and the how the research influenced your project.

The Candidate's Self Assessment is usually 1.5 - 3 pages in length.  I suggest a brief overview of your project and the activities, followed by your reflections.

Feel free to include any information you feel is relevant in supporting your synopsis/report, e.g. table, graph, survey results, etc.  but do not send me large number of student slides shows, student emails or student documents since I want to focus on your reflections.

Your mentor provides support for your RPP only.
Mentor's are not expected to provide support for or to comment
on your assignments.
