Askern College

An ancestor of mine, Herbert Leonard, aged 16, was studying and boarding at Askern College, High Street, Askern, Yorkshire, when the 1881 Census was taken. I have built a small Askern College Webpage to serve as an online repository for information on this small public school. • KISHKAN (or KISZKAN)-Iwankoutz/Ivankivtsi/Ivancauti, between Kotzman/Kitsman and Sniatyn. My great grandfather immigrated to North America in 1908 and settled in Franklin Furnace, New Jersey; Glace Bay, Nova Scotia; Kananaskis, Alberta; Phoenix, British Columbia; Drumheller, Alberta; and Beverly, Alberta.
