In 2009 Ashley completed her Masters in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a specialization in Measurement and Methods at the University of Western Ontario. Previous to this she graduated with her Honours Specialization in Psychology at King's University College at the University of Western Ontario. Her intentions are to pursue doctoral studies in population health. |
LESLEY SMITH, BMusA, BScN, MScN

In 2010 Lesley Smith finished her Master’s degree in the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at The University of Western Ontario. Her research interests are in the field of empowerment, workplace incivility, and organizational commitment, with a particular interest in the experiences of newly graduated nurses. |
LISA STAM, RN, BScN
Research Assistant
In 2008 Lisa completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as the University of Western Ontario. In the fall of 2010 she returned to the University of Western Ontario to begin her Masters of Science in Nursing, in the stream of Leadership in Healthcare Delivery. Her interests lie in the areas of the quality of nurses' work environments, organizational social structures, and the connection between nursing and quality patient care. She also continues to work as a staff nurse at London Health Science's Centre. |
EMILY READ, BHKin, MSc In 2010 Emily completed her Master of Science in Kinesiology. In 2008 she graduated with an honours degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University. Currently she is in year 1 of the BScN CTF program at Western. In the future she intends to pursue her PhD in Nursing Leadership.

KIRSTEN MATTHEWS Research Assistant
Kirsten is in the first year of her undergraduate degree in Global Studies at Huron University College at The University of Western Ontario. She is interested in global health issues and has ambitions of working with international aid projects in Africa, and in the future pursuing a career in international health law. |
