Jeffrey S. Hoch received his PhD in health economics from the School of Hygiene and
Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Hoch also holds a Masters in
Economics from the Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California
at San Diego. Dr. Hoch has taught Health Economics and Economic Evaluation classes
in Canada, Europe and the United States. Currently, Dr. Hoch is pursuing research
on statistical methodology as well as applied health economics. Special interests include mental health and home care. Dr. Hoch is the recipient of a Career Scientist Award from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
