April 2021: Congratulations to Nastaran Tajoddin on winning the inaugural Hadis Hayatdavoudi Scholarship in Chemistry. This scholarship was established by Dr. Nasim Hadj-Bagheri in honour of Hadis Hayatdavoudi who was a PhD student in our Department. Hadis was killed in January 2020, along with 174 other passengers and crew, when Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 was shot down near Tehran by an Iranian missile. September 2020: Congratulations to Victor Yin on passing his Ph.D. exam with flying colors (external examiner: Prof. Ann English). September 2020: Congratulations to Leanne Martin on her successful M.Sc. defense - great job Leanne !!!

Research Conference on Biological Molecules in the Gas Phase and in
Solution, which was attended by more than 100 top-notch scientists
from all over
the world. The conference was held at Proctor Academy in Andover, New
