Research Interests:
1. Synthesis of one dimensional nanomaterials (Si nanowires) using wet chemical etching, and studies of underlying mechanism and kinetics of the reaction.

2. Characterization of one-dimensional nanostructures (silicon carbide, boron nitride, etc) using X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (XAFS) and X-ray Excited Optical Luminescence (XEOL)

3. Electrochemical anodization of titanium dioxide nanotubes and related applications (calcium hydroxyapatite coating, photocatalysis, etc).
