The
Emerging Leader Initiative is a paid campus ministry position for a 3rd
or 4th year undergraduate student. It seeks to develop students'
missional gifts, create mentoring relationships which model and
multiply holistic leaders, extend the current scope of ministry on
campus, and provide leadership experience for students contemplating
future ministry. This initiative seeks to identify, inspire, and equip
an emerging generation of Christian leaders.
This Inititive is similar to a "work-study" bursary. Students accepted into this position will be involved in ministry approximately 6 hours per week during the regular academic semester and paid on an hourly basis up to a maximum of $1,000/semester. These 6 hours/week will be spent in one-on-one mentoring meetings with the campus minister and independently leading a ministry of their interest. An individual student is eligible for this Initiative up to a maximum total of 4 semesters. The Application Procedure
