I received PhD degree (Applied Mathematics) in 2008 and M.Sc. degree (Industrial and Applied Mathematics) in 2004 from York University, Canada. I have also received M.Sc.
(Mathematics), B.Sc. and B.Ed. degrees from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. After completion of PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral research associate for two years (2008-2010) with Dr.
Alan Perelson at Theoretical Biology and Biophysics Group of Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral research
fellow with Dr. Lindi Wahl at the Department of Applied Mathemtics,
The University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Research Interest
My research interest includes Mathematical Immunology, Mathematical Epidemiology, Mathematical Ecology and Mathematical Medicine. Developing mathematical and
computational models of the physical phenomena is the primary objective. Modeling, especially, through differential equations, qualitative analysis, statistical data
analysis and numerical simulations are the major tools frequently used in my research.
