3/17 - It has been announced that one of Scorsese's next major projects will be "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt". Set to come out in 2008, this will be a film that looks at the formative years of the 26th American President.

2/28 - ”The Departed” (2006) has won Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Director (Martin Scorsese) and Best Picture of the 79th Oscars! Although Scorsese has never really needed it, he has finally won the recognition of the American Film Academy. We can only hope this award will be the impetus for more films to come...
