About Me

I am a current graduate student in the applied mathematics department at the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. I am under the supervision of Rob Corless in the area of Scientific computation.

My interests mainly revolve around scientific computing, in particular exploring methods for computing the roots of polynomial equations expressed in Hermite and Lagrange bases and for barycentric rational interpolants as well as exploring structured condition numbers and structured backward error for companion matrices. A somewhat related interest is investigating novel methods for locating periodic points in the Mandelbrot set, one of which is using companion matrices for matrix polynomials in the Lagrange basis.
