Infinite limits at infinity

  • Infinite limits at infinity
    • Let \(f(x)=e^x\).
    • Then we see that we can make \(f(x)\) arbitrarily large by taking \(x\) large enough. Therefore, we write \(\lim_{x\to\infty}e^x=\infty\)
    • Note that on the other hand, we have \(\lim_{x\to-\infty}f(x)=0\).
