My Interests:
I'm interested in foundations of physical theories, including statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics and classical physics. I am also interested in various methodological issues including intertheoretic relations, explanation, and emergence. I am currently working on related projects concerning idealizations in physics and on the nature and role of special functions.
