Hohenbuehelia atrocoerulea (Fr.: Fr.) Singer

RGT #870601/12, on Pinus strobus in woods with Tsuga canadensis, Booth's Rock Trail, Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, CANADA. This specimen has the larger basidiospores and darker pileus colours sometimes associated with H. atrocoerulea sensu stricto. The species complex including H. atrocoerulea, H. grisea and H. portegna needs careful revision based on type study and determination of biological species within the group.
