Hohenbuehelia unguicularis (Fr.: Fr.) Miller (in Thorn 1986)
RGT #870601/19 (dry when collected), on dead lower branches of Populus tremuloides, Clarke Lake, Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, CANADA. When fresh or rehydrated, the fruiting bodies are a dark reddish brown (to black), with a fine, pallid pruina. Lamellae are dark in both fresh and dried states. Photo June 1, 1987, copyright R.G.
