Anamorph of Hohenbuehelia mastrucata RGT #820902/12 (culture number T-25), on rhabditid nematode on water agar. Note hook at apex of mature conidia, persisting upon germination of the conidium to form an adhesive knob (right). This species can act as both a predator (with adhesive knobs on extensive mycelium) and a parasitoid (capturing a single passing nematode with an adhesive conidium).
