Nature of Research Projects
Pending sufficient funds in my research grants, new projects in my lab will fall into two categories: (1) physiological mechanisms of metal tolerance in plants and (2) transfer of metals from soils to plants. I am willing to supervise projects related to the molecular biology or genetics of plant responses to metals only if an appropriate co-supervisor is found, and if the student already has extensive experience in these areas.
