I am currently working in the area of semialgebraic geometry, with a focus on arcanalytic functions. Arcanalytic functions turn out to be flexible yet strong tools in the study of, in particular, semialgebraic sets. For instance, Nullstellensatz is true in the algebraic geometry formed by pairing semialgebraic sets with the ring of arcanalytic functions. My contribution to this subject includes a proof of a conjecture that states every arcsymmetric set is the zero locus of an arcanalytic function and the introduction of a theory of decomposition of semialgebraic sets into irreducible components.
