Welcome to the homepage of Professor T.K. Sham

Our research centres on the experimental and theoretical investigation of the electronic structure of matter and its interplay with material properties and spectroscopy. Emphasis is placed on metallic and semiconductor materials in low dimensions, and more recently nano systems, OLED materials and soft matters.

A major ongoing thrust is the development and applications of synchrotron radiation techniques at facilities including Advanced Photon Source at Argonnie National Laboratory (Illinois) and the Canadian Light Source at the University of Saskatchewan.

Interested in joining us? Potential graduate students and post-doctoral fellows are encouraged to contact Prof. Sham for possible openings.
