Biography: Malavika Nair is an undergraduate student in the Integrated Science (WISc) program specializing with physics. She is our undergraduate student research intern, focusing her work on applying machine learning algorithms to optimize thermoelectric systems.

John Jan Drozd

Research Interests / Specializations: Mathematical Physics
Biography: Jon Doe is a Mathematics and Statistics Professor at Fanshawe College and a Mathematics Tutor at Huron University College. He previously researched RF interactions in MRI machines at Western University and developed algorithms for detecting early Alzheimer's disease at Robarts Research Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Western University and received a Postdoctoral Fellowship Award from The Alzheimer Society.

Varenya Upadhyaya

Research Interests / Specializations: Gravitational Waves
Biography: Varenya Upadhyaya is currently a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, interested in mainly gravitational wave research. He did his undergrad from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad in Engineering Physics and interned at the University of Western Ontario through the Mitacs program in the summer of 2023.

Mahmoud Sharawy

Biography: Dr. Mahmoud Sharawy is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the May Lab at the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of Connecticut. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario.

Farrukh Chishtie

Biography: Dr. Farrukh A Chishtie is an atmospheric and earth observation scientist with extensive experience in various experimental and modelling disciplines. He has more than 18 years of research experience, and is presently leading the Peaceful Society, Science and Innovation Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving communities affected by climate change, wars and pandemics.
