Lena Clock was baptized at German Flatts, N.Y., 17 Sept 1776 (sponsors Conrad Clock and Lena). It is speculated she married Johannes G. Etel in 1793. It does not appear she came to Canada.
Jacob Clock was baptized at German Flatts N.Y., 24 Jan 1778 (sponsors Jacob Staring and Catherine, father and mother of Anna Eva). It is speculated that he married Margaret Elizabeth Christman. It does not appear he came to Canada.
Joseph Clock, son of Jacob Conrad Clock, baptized 12 Apr 1785, at German Flatts, New York (sponsors Jost Klock and Lena Stauring) appeared in Canada first as a witness at the marriage of Elizabeth Clock and Jacob Anderson and second as a sponsor at the baptism of Benajah, son of Benajah and Margaret Clock Rouse.
There does not seem to be another mention of him in York township. Perhaps he may have died as a curious marriage turned up in a Buffalo, New York newspaper in 1815. A Catherine Clock, not Catherine Clock Risenburgh, but possibly Joseph's widow and David Delong were married in Buffalo at the time the Delong family of York township were there while migrating back to the USA to land purchased in Ohio.
The Delongs appeared to go back and forth between York and Ohio. The baptism of Jacob Delong, son of David and Catherine Delong at St. James Parish took place 30 Nov 1823, sponsors were Henry and Ann (Nancy)Clock Phillips. At the same time the baptisms for Edward and Mary Clock Phillips' children Edward and Eve and Henry and Ann (Nancy) Clock Phillips' son Charles took place.
Elizabeth Clock, daughter of Jacob Conrad Clock, was baptized 23 Nov 1788, at St. John's Reformed Church, St. Johnsville, New York. She married Jacob Anderson, son of Elias Anderson UEL, 10 Dec 1810 at St. James Parish, one of the witnesses being Joseph Clock.
The 1851 census of King township records Thomas Anderson, age 33 and wife Mary, age 27, with Jacob, age 5; Elizabeth, age 4; Ruth, age 3 and Margaret, age 1. In the 1861 census Ruth, at age 12, was a servant.
The 1861 census of King township records Jacob Anderson and wife Elizabeth, 75 and 60 years of age respectively.
The 1871 census of King township lists Jacob Anderson, age 85, living with Julia A. Cutting, age 50 (see Julianna below) and Elizabeth, age 15.
Julianna, born 24 Oct 1821 and Charles (no birth date given, see marriage below), children of Jacob and Elizabeth Clock Anderson; George and Eliza, son and daughter of Edward and Mary Clock Phillips and Daniel, son of David and Diadema Diver Clock were baptized the same day, 10 Aug 1826 by Dr. Phillips at Humber Mills.Margaret Susanna, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Clock Anderson was baptized 23 Mar 1813 at St. James Parish, the sponsors being Jacob and Eva Clock.Julia Cutting died 18 Aug 1910, 89 years, 9 months, 22 days at the Industrial House, York County. She was described as a widowed housewife, died of old age and a fractured thigh, birth date 26 Oct 1820, father Jacob Anderson and mother Elizabeth Clock.
Charles Anderson and Margaret Allen, were married by the Rev. Ezra Adams, Wesleyan Methodist minister, in King township, the 6 Jun 1845. Witnesses for this marriage were Jacob Anderson and William Clock. This appeared to be a double wedding because at the same time the witness William Clock married Eliza Anderson and the witnesses were Jacob and Charles Anderson (possibly brothers of Eliza Anderson).
William Clock, born 1822, perhaps one of the sons of Conrad Clock (as a son of Conrad, William would then be cousin to Eliza Anderson) lived in Euphrasia and Artemesia townships, Grey County and had the following children:
