Jan Miller Polgar

Jan is an Associate Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Ontario.  She has been a member of the faculty at Western since 1982.  Her interests include: 1. The effect of seating and mobility intervention on occupational performance of children and adults. 2.Development of postural control in children with cerebral palsy. 3. Research and development of seating products for children with disabilities.  She received her B.Sc.OT. OT in 1978 at the University of Toronto. She received an M.A.O.T. in 1983 at the University of Southern California and received her Ph.D., Education in 1992 at the University of Toronto.
