Dr. David Boyd is a general internist at the London Health Sciences Centre.  He is also an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Medicine and Psychiatry, University of Western Ontario.

Dr. Boyd has written articles on a number of pain related issues and has done research focused on an MS Contin Study.

Actively involved in the medical community, Dr. Boyd is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, the Canadian Pain Society, the Canadian Psychiatric Association, the Internal Association for the Study of Pain (member of the taxonomy subcommittee), the London Academy of Medicine, and the Ontario Medical Association.

Dr. Boyd attended medical school at the University of Western Ontario (Meds ’72) He completed a rotating internship at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario and later did his residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Western Ontario. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both medicine and psychiatry.
