In this coming academic year I will be directing a seminar on Special Functions. The purpose of the course will be to expand the participant's mathematical vocabulary by exposition of the basic properties of and identities satisfied by various commonly-encountered special functions.
The course will be pass/fail, based on the participant giving at least one of the lectures. Course Outline
