OA Portal aims to bring together as much information and the most effective strategies of implementing Open Access in higher education. The specific purpose of this website is twofold. First, it acts as an informational hub that focuses on scholarly communications within the context of the contemporary university. Second, it presents an argument in favour of a more democratic and effective method of creating and sharing scholarly output.
OA Portal is created by a team of librarians and information professionals for anyone interested in modern scholarly communications. We believe that the largest hindrance to the Open Access movement is knowledge. In the spirit of our mission, all information listed here is open and freely available.
