Theoretical and Applied Linguistics Laboratory

The Theoretical and Applied Linguistics Laboratory (TALL), provides the electronic and technological basis for innovative and collaborative linguistic research to take place at Western and around the world.

Linguistic research projects involving advanced linguistics analysis, data collection and online data retrieval and research collaboration are a part of TALL's function.

TALL also provides faculty and students with an excellent environment to develop and master transferable technical skills in such areas as online database creation and management, statistical analysis and Geographical Information Systems including sophisticated computer applications.
