The CIRA Banquet is always an enjoyable affair that is attended by most conference participants. At the banquet we feature our Honourary H.D. Woods Lecture, the presentation of the Allen Ponak Best Student Paper Award and the Gérard Dion Award (http://www.cira-acri.ca/en/awards/index.html). The H.D. Woods speaker will be announced shortly.
This year the banquet will be held off-site at Hernder Estates Wines and will include a wine tour and tasting before the meal. Hernder Estates is one of Canada’s largest family Estate Wineries and is located less than 15 minutes from Brock University in a fully restored 1867 Victorian barn.
Buses will depart Brock at 5:45 (for those interested in the tour and tasting) and 6:00 pm (for those not interested in the tour and tasting) and return to Brock at 10:00 pm
