About Us
Taste of Germany came about as a way to capture the traditional recipes used by Oma and Opa Rapp. Having lived their whole lives in the Black Forest region of Germany, the ingredients represent this geographical area.
With busy schedules we became aware that many of these recipes were only being prepared once or twice a year for special occasions. There are newer quicker versions of these recipes available, however we wanted to share authentic traditional home-cooked German meals.
We recommend doubling up recipes when possible, all the recipes selected freeze very well. We hope with any of these recipes we are able to help re-create or create for the first time a taste of Germany.
