I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Sinclair lab working under the Aspire project, i.e. thermal biology of the House cricket (Acheta domesticus). I hold a BSc hons degree in Crop Science and an MSc in Tropical Entomology from the University of Zimbabwe. I recently completed my PhD from the Botswana International University of Science and Technology. My study there focused on insect responses to temperature change and their physiological adaptations following a change in environment. In particular, I worked on the mechanisms employed by insects to thrive in heterogeneous new environments and inferred how these mechanisms can also be used in the advent of climate change.
