Welcome to the Department of Chemistry's Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) facility at Western University.

The NMR facility focuses on utilizing NMR spectroscopy to elucidate the structure and dynamics of small molecules, polymers and peptides. Both liquid-state and solid-state samples may be studied. Please see "About the Facility" above for more information.

After receiving hands-on training, researchers can acquire their own NMR spectra on any of the facility's four NMR spectrometers. Please see "Using the Facility" above for more information.

Alternately, NMR spectra can be acquired and analyzed for Western, or non-Western, personnel by NMR facility staff. Please see "NMR Service" above for more information.
