Travel and Accommodation
The University of Western Ontario is located in London, Ontario which is itself located halfway between Toronto, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. There are frequent connecting flights between London International Airport (YXU) and Toronto, as well as Detroit and Chicago. Alternatively, there is non-stop shuttle service (link: http://www.aboutownairbus.ca/) running between Toronto’s Pearson Airport and London, and between Detroit’s Metro Airport and London.
It should be noted that Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card or NEXUS card satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens.
