About Me

Carlie is a Master's Candidate of Library and Information Science (MLIS) at Western University in London, Ontario. Her educational background is in business, human resources, project management, photography, and non-profit corporate governance.

Carlie's research has focused on tabletop role-playing games in libraries and disability and accessibility language in subject headings and social tags. You can follow her work at:

Carlie currently works as a Research & Data Services Technologist in an academic library where she provides reference services. She is also in charge of curating a board game collection, as well as active and passive library programming.

Unsurprisingly, Carlie is a gamer and enjoys strategy and role-playing games, namely:
