-- It is only through mystery and madness that the soul is discovered - Thomas Moore --
In the beginning, it was the eclipses and volcanoes that man feared but as time passed man learned there was more of the world they could not explain. He would be plagued by frogs raining from the sky and horns played by the clouds. Towns filled with people were suddenly found empty. As time went on man saw that the world he inhabited only grew more mysterious. Today we study what we can of our strange planet monitoring the forests and seas 24/7 in hopes of understanding. This part of our website explores the strange things we see, whether that has been an eye witness account of a creature, diaries from strange events in history, or odd weather events that scientists have struggled to fully explain. Only the strangest of real phenomenon is featured here, enjoy our attempt at putting words to what humanity has struggled to define.
Some of the stories in this section include the mothman prophecies, the phenomenon of raining frogs and the dancing plague of 1518.
