The planet Earth is weird, and we are only a small portion of its inhabitants. We only occupy a small portion of the Earth and have only done so for a relatively short portion of the Earth's life. There are rare weather events and strange phenomenon caused by the cycles of the Earth. Quick and slow changes in pressure, temperature and radiation can all cause bizzare reactions. Some of these phenomenon are only strange like the Fallstreak Hole, a phenomenon in which quite suddenly a hole can appear in dense cloud cover. Other phenomenon is haunting like the Sky trumpets which have been heard across the planet, or Red Sprites which appear as enormous alien figures on the horizon. Below are the stories of our planet, the things we see in the sky that are both awe inspiring and terrifying.
