Artifact Sets

Characters in Genshin Impact all have their own unique elemental abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Depending on the character you choose to level up – there are specific artifact sets that will increase their abilities. Artifact sets can also grant unique bonus stats depending on the character they are equipped to.

For example, to level up Venti, a 5-star Anemo character, it is recommended to get the Viridescent Venerer artifact set from the Valley of Remembrance Domain. This set increases the swirl damage by 60% and decreases the opponent's elemental resistance infused in the swirl by 40% for 10s, making it one of the strongest sets in the game for an Anemo character.

Whatever you choose for your character - artifact sets are used to enhance a characters abilities and can be mixed and matched, there is no requirement to have a complete matching set.
