Artifacts

genshin

Artifacts help players to permanently increase their character's stats which enhance their abilities and increase the damage that they can incur on enemies. Artifacts can also be used to increase a character’s health, defense, attack, or critical damage. Players can obtain artifacts by exploring Teyvat, completing quests and defeating bosses and domains.

Not every artifact holds the same value and while you can find low rarity artifacts across Teyvat – you can increase your chances of obtaining four and five-star artifacts by completing the Domains of Blessings (on a higher level) which will award you with different artifacts that you may need for a specific character. Artifacts with one to three stars will often have one main stat with one or two substats – the rare artifacts will have up to four.

Players should equip their characters with all 5 artifacts depending on what suits the character's element type. There are 5 types of artifacts which can only be equipped on one character at a time but can be swapped between characters in your inventory.

Artifact Types
