Readings → Where to Find

As I hope this site shows you, this course prioritizes equity and accessibility as one of its key tenets. This course also really values both academic and public libraries (and ways in which we as individuals can support them will be discussed throughout the class). As such, I really try hard to work with libraries and students to avoid having each student buy their books. My goal is that all the course texts can be access by every student free of charge.

So, I highly recommend that you check out the University library for all the books will you need for this course. The physical copies will be available for 1-day course reserve, and you may be able to find copies that you can borrow for the whole semester! I will also work with the library to have eBook, audiobook, and large-print formats of the books, in the spirit of accessibility.

Otherwise, I also recommend:

If none of these options work, then look at Indigo, Google Books, iBooks, Audible or Amazon. If you’d rather not buy your materials from these businesses (I get it!), come talk to me and we can figure something out!
